Cleveland Hope serves Cleveland through strengthening existing churches and starting new churches. GPS and refocus are aimed at training existing churches to engage their community more effectively. Cleveland Hope partners with NEO360, a regional church planting agency, to start new churches that serve the city of Cleveland. Please consider partnering with us to serve Cleveland, OH.
Refocus
An initiative from the SCBO(State Convention of Baptists in Ohio) being led by Steve Hopkins. Initially pastors and their wives met in January of 2010 for a weekend retreat. This was needed time away from their busy everyday lives. Time to step back, regroup, and refocus on God's will for their lives, and churches. The training has continued. A one day event was held at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, on February 18th. The next event is scheduled for March 18th. This refocusing then trickles down to the church leaders, and then to the members.
GPS
Do you know that God has a plan for sharing the gospel with the lost? GPS is God's Plan for Sharing. Every believer sharing every person hearing. A nation wide initiative to reach the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Currently 13 of our associational churches will be walking their neighborhoods placing bags on doors. These bags include the salvation message and an invitation from the invloved church to their Easter Service. They will also include other literature that the individual church wishes to share.The scheduled day for walking and placing door hanger bags is March 27th, but churches can work this into theirs schedules as they see fit. How Can I pray for Cleveland?

Praise God with us for all He is doing in Cleveland. Praise God for leaders currently being trained. Praise God for His faithfullness to us.

- May God send leaders with hearts for the lost and the community to Cleveland
- That leaders can be trained successfully to start new church plants
- May God send pastors to our 3 churches that currently are without pastors
- For all of our pastors and planters to be obedient to the leadings of the Holy Spirit
- May God meet all of our needs financially as giving is down
- May God truly work with the pastors and churches that are going through the reFocus Training
- For the churches involved in GPS-see below-. May God grant them many face to face encounters with people who's hearts have been softened by the Holy Spirit.
- May those walking for GPS be filled with courage and the Holy Spirit
- For a large harvest of new believers through this and other initiatives
- Pray for the launch of a new church, Rock Point, on March 21, 2010 @10AM
